John Vogel

John is a professional horseman with over forty years of experience teaching and training in the Hunter/Jumper industry.
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame he operated his own Hunter/Jumper training stable and riding academy for twenty years near Toledo, Ohio. In 1995 he moved to California and joined the staff of Portuguese Bend Riding Club. He has taught thousands of students not only how to ride but also how to be good horsemen.

Jennifer Aubele

Jennifer is a proven equestrian with a friendly touch. With over twenty years experience as an instructor, equitation winner, and multiple wins in the hunter ring. Jennifer also has a strong background in dressage, has wins in multiple medal finals both as a junior and amateur rider, and a thorough background in the jumper ring.

Mary Hirsch

For as long as Mary can remember her life has revolved around horses. Through many years of hard work and dedication Mary has experienced the joys of training, riding, and working with horses. Mary has successfully shown in the jumper “A” Circuit. She has recently joined Portuguese Bend Riding Club as an instructor. Mary’s list of students continues to grow, while her passion shows in her teaching.

Callie Bell

Like so many young girls, Callie LOVED horses. She spent countless hours drawing and playing with model horses. As she grew so did her interest.
Today, her love for horses and talent for training is combined with a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience. Callie has proven to be successful in both the competitive and recreational aspects of her business.
Callie is dedicated to offering opportunities for people to learn and expand their riding abilities, and is committed to helping people achieve their goals and make their dreams become a reality. From making national champions to helping someone conquer their fear and allowing them to appreciate and enjoy horses and horseback riding.
